Pray along

Last Friday I started what I hope will be an ongoing tradition in this space. I was extremely touched to see what was on people's hearts and it gave me a boost to hold others' intentions along with my own throughout the past seven days.

Here's how it works: Leave a prayer request in the comments on Friday's posts. It can be anything--something you are thankful for, a friend you are worried about, a desire from your heart... Anything. By leaving a comment you are also committing to pray for others who comment as well. We'll start fresh each week. That's it. You can even be anonymous if you wish.

This week I am offering up prayers of thanksgiving for the health of my children. I know we are incredibly blessed that up to this point, most doctor's visits are for well child exams and anything beyond that has never amounted to more than a simple diagnosis that was easily fixed. Thank you, God, for giving my girls healthy bodies. Most days we take this gift completely for granted.

Won't you take a moment to open up and ponder a prayer for myself and others to hold as well?

I am leading a new Bible study group for young wives and mothers at my church and our first meeting is this coming Monday. Please pray that God would use this group to grow new friendships and deeper faith in all it's members... and also that He would lead me as I lead the group.

Thanks, Sara, for leading us all in this wonderful exercise in the power of prayer. :-) love you.

On Sunday, a friend of ours was badly injured in an accident. He is still in the ICU, literally broken in so many places and in so much pain. Please pray with us for strength and comfort for his family and for his recovery.

Sara and Friends, I am thankful my son continues to thrive in his special school. I am grateful he is happy in his life at this time. Please pray with me that this continues for us as his life can sometimes become difficult. You see, he has autism.
I love him so much.
God Bless You All.

I would like everyone to pray for my coworker and her family as they gather around their mother who is soon to pass away. Pray for peace and comfort that can only come from above and can only be found by seeking His face.
